???
i am really confused.
1- adv7188 datasheet shows an example schematic on which cvbs inputs have 19-56 ohm (totally 75 ohm) resistor divider for reducing pal video signal to 1Vpp range. But you say that datasheet shows direct 75 ohm connection. Are we talking about same datasheet and same video input?
2- i don't really understand the adc input range. Does it mean maximum 1.6Vpp video signal with any dc level on it? Or it requires 1Vpp ac video signal Which has a dc level not higher than 1.6V. i try to ask; is the pal video signal snapshot i had attached on my previous message normal with ac-range and dc levels? on the picture, ground level has been vertically pulled down for displaying clearly. Grids have 500mV interval. Sync is below 1.6V but active video's peak level is sometimes 2.5V. DaveD had written that this was not normal use. Can you give some detail?
3- we have interlaced pal video passing through adv7188 to adv212. Format is EAV/SAV. We transfer the jpeg2000 codestreams via ethernet (jp2 format) and displayed by kakadu on pc.
As i have mentioned before, if we make adv212 encode settings as pal de-interlace, (even and odd fields merged and sent together with a period of about 40ms) we have a kakadu output of clear, good image but adv212's de-interlace method is not motion-adaptive and result video is not acceptable for us. On the other side if we make adv212 encode settings as pal interlace, (even and odd fields merged and sent separetely with a period of about 20ms) we have a kakadu output of vertically vibrating video. do i have to use custom-specific mode? Or choosing pal-interlace should be enough? Also i compared on wireshark the odd and even fields' jpeg2000 header parameters before the compressed data starts (FF93) but the header datas are same. i mean, where is the field information on the jp2 codestream? There is adv header with FFFFFFF0 and FFFFFFF1 informations declaring the field information but we throw away first 16 bytes and so, is there another field information on the codestream data i send to kakadu? i have a doubt that field information is not sent to kakadu and because of this kakadu is unsuccesfull at de-interlacing fields.am i right? Please inform me.
