Thanks for your reply.Ihave read in the "USB mass storage complete book" by Jane Axleson that ,the file name and the file size are also transmitted to the file storage (when we copy the file from PC to Usb MAS STORAGE DEVICE),however i am not able to access the file structure(i.e name,size,"Date modified",r/w attributes etc) for the file that is stored in the mass storage in the USB mass storage example, but it is said in the documentation that the USB mass storage example formats the volume(be it RAM,NAND,HARD DISK) as a FAT file system(and my PC also shows the file system (foe this usb mass storage device ) as FAT).It would be helpful if you can tell a method to use the File system service in this scenario.
