Ultimately, we hope to interface the ADIS to a single board computer. The aim is to use the ADIS data to perform real-time sensor motion compensation.
A good first step is to use the EVAL board to increase our knowledge and understanding.
A good second step may be to follow the Arduino interfacing project.
Then we may try the target computer. I am open to suggestions - like your embedded processor option. At the moment we trigger a read from the ADIS but the data rate we need is low so it may not be needed.
At the moment we are using a GPS-INS system but we may only need the IMU. There could be big savings in hardware costs if we spend some development time.
