I would like to use the ADuCM360 connected to the isolated side of the ADM3260, so that it can be powered from the ADM3260 (with filtering and via a fast low-noise voltage regulator). I would also use the I2C isolator in the ADM3260 for communication with the master on the other side of the isolation barrier. However, the maximum input voltage for the low logical level at the ADuCM360 digital I/Os, given as 0.2xIOVDD in the datasheet (660 mV @ IOVDD=3.3V in my application), is not high enough for the ADM3260 output low logical level (600 mV to 900 mV), so the ICs are not compatible. The value 0.2xIOVDD seems unusual, as 0.3xIOVDD is much more common (is it by any chance an error in the datasheet?). An I2C repeater such as the PCA9617A would probably solve this problem, but it would introduce a propagation delay in addition to that of the ADM3260. I would appreciate it very much if someone could suggest a better solution.
