I need help in selecting a Xilinx control board for the AD-FMCOMMS2-EBZ. Apparently the AD-FMCOMMS2-EBZ kit came with the linux software for both the ZC702 and ZC706. The cost of the ZC702 is $800 and the cost of the ZC706 is $2500. It looks like the FMCOMMS2 Control IIO Scope will work with either.
Can someone tell me the disadvantage to purchasing the ZC702 over the ZC706? What am I not considering? For our setup, we basically want to transmit and receive a spectrum by loading in a text file.
