Below is a link to an Analog Devices tutorial, which show in Figures 6 and 7,
how the capacitor and inductor are used together for noise suppresion going into a power supply pin on a chip.

The tutorial goes on to show an FFT plot with and without capacitors, in Fig 14 and Fig 16
that show more spurs happening without the capacitors.
A quick check by placing a scope probe on pin 57 to check for any ripple?
