Re: Changing 1772 filters without sigma studio

Hi JJB,

 

The ADAU1772 has two coefficient memory banks (A and B) for the filters used in the signal flow you create in SigmaStudio. Utilizing this feature along with the Multi-Purpose (MP) pins you could create the system you are referring to. A few of the MP pins can be assigned to toggle between the coefficient banks. You could create your schematic, load different filter settings into each coefficient bank, and connect a switch to the MP pin assigned to select bank A or B. This is limited to two different filter settings, but if you need more, you would only need 2 EEPROMS for 4 filters, for example.
