This is an interesting idea but the EVAL-ADIS and IMU Evaluation software were not designed to enable customization. We don't presently share the code for the evaluation software but do offer a .NET DLL, with LabVIEW and Matlab (32-bit only) examples at the following location, but you might need to configured your received to respond to requests from the EVAL-ADIS in a manner that is similar to the ADIS16488 itself.

Maybe I am missing something, but this sounds a bit tough, just to leverage a waveform recorder. Does your receiver come with any LabVIEW, Matlab or DLL support? Perhaps that might help display the data in manner that would be helpful.
