Another question is which pin are you trying to view the SYNC_CLK output on? SYNC_CLK should be on pin 54 which is J13 on the evaluation board. Pins 1 and 2 (J11 and J12) are SYNC_OUT and SYNC_IN which are used to synchronize multiple parts.
